I am a California native, originally from the Bay Area and then moved to southern California for college and medical school. I was happy to return to the Bay for my general residency training at UCSF and then pursue additional fellowship training in Boston at Massachusetts General Hospital. Though Boston was a great adventure, California is home and so I moved back. I then worked at Kaiser northern California where I collaborated with many disciplines to care for a diverse population. After moving to Los Angeles, I decided to pursue a private practice where I can continue to focus on providing high quality mental health care and education.
I believe quality mental health care includes a compassionate, holistic approach. In my practice we will discuss the psychiatric issues at hand, and also any relevant medical, psychological, social, cultural, environmental, occupational and/or other lifestyle factors. The path towards understanding one's self and improving mental wellness can be filled with its challenges, and I consider it a privilege to offer support and guidance along the way.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your healing journey.
