Yes, I am set up to do telehealth. Generally speaking, intakes will be in person and follow ups will be your preference. If exceptions need to be made, we can discuss on the phone to see if it's appropriate or not.
Please note, I can only see patients who reside in California.
The comprehensive evaluation is usually 90 minutes total for adults and 120-150 minutes total for children/ teens.
For child/ teen intakes, the comprehensive evaluation can either be in one day or split into two parts--the interview (one appointment date/time) and the treatment plan discussion (a second appointment date/time). For adults, the evaluation is usually one day, but on some occasions can be split into two parts.
Medical follow up appointments can be 25 minutes or 50 minutes, depending on need.
Usually, child/ teen follow ups are 50 minutes.
There is free 1 and 2 hour street parking around the office building. You can also park in the Koll Center paid parking lot at the 1055 E Colorado Blvd address. Parking entrance for this lot is on N Wilson Street.
At this time, I am considered out of network for all insurances. If you want to still use your insurance, a "superbill" can be generated for you, which you can then submit to your insurance company for appropriate reimbursement.
Please submit an appointment inquiry or call for rates. Payment is via cash or credit card in the Ivy Pay platform. If you prefer another form of payment for privacy or other reasons, we can discuss.

Yes, Mandarin.
Not necessarily. The evaluation will determine if medications are indicated or not. Sometimes medications are highly recommended, sometimes moderately, and sometimes not recommended at all. We will review risks, benefits and alternatives of medications when discussing treatment plans. Medications prescriptions are approached from evidence-based, ethical, and patient-centered principles.
Upon completing the initial comprehensive evaluation, we will review together the diagnosis and proposed treatment plan. If we are in agreement, we can proceed forward formally as doctor-patient and schedule follow up appointments.
Unfortunately I am not set up to evaluate for medical or psychiatric disability.
If you plan to pay cash-only (ie you will not pursue reimbursement with your insurance company), then per the No Surprises Act you will be provided a cost estimate of a proposed treatment plan.
